Mary Lee Snodgrass, 87, of Hampshire Ave. Norfolk died on January 2, 2012. She was the daughter of the late John and Maude Copeland of Hendersonville, Tennessee where she was born. Mary has lived most of her life in Norfolk. She had been a member of Norview Presbyterian Church since 1957. She had been active in the Church Choir, on the Board of Deacons, Women's Circle and had been an officer of the 50+ Club for seniors for 15 years. Mary is survived by her loving husband of Edwin I. Snodgrass( Ed ) for 67 years. Other survivors include daughter Phyllis Whitley and husband David of Grafton, VA., daughter Barbara Farr and husband Steve of Thomaston, Ga. Son Edwin Michael Snodgrass and wife Rita of Gloucester, VA., and son Gary Wayne Snodgrass of Virginia Beach, VA. 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and her niece, Linda Comstock.
A memorial service will be held in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Clyde Johnson officiating.
