Roy A. Schoff, 74, 512 N. Independence Ave., died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 1963, in Swedish-American Hospital, where he had been a patient for two days.
Born May 25, 1889 in White Creek, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Schoff. Lived 43 years in Rockford, coming here from Argyle, Wis. Married to the former Blanche Darrow in Aryle, Wis., June 14, 1911. Co-owner of the Darrow Dairy Co. of Rockford, and operated the Auburn St. Meat Market for 16 years, and had worked in Rockford locker plants. Member of Argyle, Wis., Masonic Lodge; Winnebago Chapter, Crusader Comandry No. 17; Tebala Shrine Temple; and live member of the Royal Order of Jesters.
Survivors include: his wife; one son, Leland, Creston; and to grandchildren, Leland and Mardie Lynne.
Services at 2 p.m. Saturday in Long-Klontz Funeral Home. Burial in Willwood Cemetery.
