Mrs. Gertrude B. Bazemore, 94, died Dec. 2 at Savannah Specialty Care.
She was a native of Statesboro and a resident of Savannah most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She retired from Fine's Department Store in 1985 after 42 years.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Jean B. Meyer of Savannah; a sister, Georgia B. Barnhart of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Susan M. Murray of Savannah and Joseph M. Meyer of Bluffton; great-grandchildren, Lisa Maguire, and Michael and Steven Murray, all of Atlanta; a niece, Sandra Thompson of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
