Addie was the second wife of Robert Floyd Turpin. They had no children. She worked at Clifton's Manufacturing Company in Waco, TX during WWII making army uniforms. Her sisters, Ima and Bertha, worked there also and they rode the Interurban from Hillsboro to work. Addie also sewed for the public from her home in Hillsboro. After her husbands death, she moved to Dallas to live with Ima and Bertha. She worked for Collins Machine shop there for 4 years before retiring in 1955. She joined the Church of Christ in 1921.
