DIES WHILE ON A VISIT AT KENOSHA
Stopping at Kenosha for a visit before returning to her home in
Two Rivers after a four months stay in California, Mrs. Lena Bonn
Kaufman, 64, died in the St. Catherine’s hospital there yesterday.
She had been at the hospital for two weeks, being removed there
from the home of her sister in law, Mrs. Henry Bonn. The deceased
was born in Two Rivers, Wis., Jan 6, 1864. She lived here all her
life. Her husband, Frank Kaufman, preceded her in death 10 years
ago. Mrs. Kaufman is survived by three sisters and a brother.
They are: Mrs. Emil Mermunys, Mrs. John [illegible] and Frank
[illegible], San Gabriel, Calf. Eight nieces and 18 nephews also
survive. The body was taken to the Mischeler, mortuary at Kenosha
and was removed to Two Rivers this morning for services here Friday
morning at St. Luke’s church where the deceased was a member of the
Altar society.
