Norma Lelane Carney James, 79, of Ellisville, MS went quietly in her sleep to be with the lord, Thursday, June 11, 2015 Ellisville, MS. After a lengthy battle with cancer and she finally been healed. She was born August 16, 1935 in Laurel, MS.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Pastor Paul Holliman and International Pastor Wayne Parker will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was retired from Jones County Tax Collector/Assessors office.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon James, parents, John W Carney and Maudie E Carney, brothers, John W Carney, Paul D Carney, Timothy M Carney,

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Mozingo (Harold) of Ellisville, MS, grand child, Aaron J Mozingo (Kellie) of Ellisville, great grand child, Haven Mozingo, and a great grand child on the way. 2 step grandchildren, Lona Mozingo, Harold Mozingo Jr. 1 step great grandchild, Ethan Mozingo, 2 special nieces, Trudi Carney Howell and Carrie Carney Aguirre, 1 special nephew, Scooter Carney, 9 great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be; Ben Carney, Logan Colbert, Samuel Parker, Matthew Carney, Jacob Aguirre, Johnny Jr. Howell.
