Marvin B. Lang, age 88, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Topeka. Marvin was born August 9, 1926 in Topeka one of 16 children born to Maurice J. Lang Sr. and Ida F. Pendergrass Lang.

Marvin worked at the Kansas State Hospital as a security guard for over 20 years.

He is survived by a son, Marvin A. Lang (Tracy) of Topeka; two daughters, Bernadene Andrews (Paul) of Topeka and Jerri Remington (Lee) of Topeka; his twin brother, Marlin Lang of Torrence, CA, Oliver Lang of Berryton; a sister, Darlene Ostrander of Topeka; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Marvin A. Lang Jr.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rochester Cemetery. He will lie in state Monday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
