Mrs. Josie Bell Collins Houchins, 56, of Bramwell died yesterday morning at the Bluefield Sanitarium.
She was born November 9, 1901 in Bluestone.
She is survived by her father and mother, William Henry and Rosa Tabor Gullion, of Bramwell; three daughters, Mrs. William (Zirleta) D’Amato, Toledo, Oh., Mrs. Bob (Lucille) Nelson, Hawthorne, Ca., Mrs. Emory (Jessie)Yates, Bramwell; one son Russell Danny Bell, with the U.S. Air Force in Korea; three sisters, Mrs. William (Bessie) Benson, Lincoln Park, Mi., Mrs. Stanley (Elsie) Yates, Miami, Fl., Mrs. William (Myrtle) Taylor, Centerline, Mi.; brothers, Carl Gullion, Vandike, Mi., Eugene Gullion, Lincoln Park, Mi.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Walter Bell and her third husband, Henry Houchins, one sister and two brothers.
The body will be removed from Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va. to the home of Mrs. William Taylor of Freeman at 2:30 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Bramwell at 2 p.m. tomorrow with the Rev. C.B. Cox officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Bluewell.
Pallbearers will be Frank Allen, Donald Allen, Robert Eller, Edward Bailey, Charles Thompson, Robert Hill, Jack Jones, and Buddy Miles.
Flower bearers will be friends of the family.
