Fredericksburg-Jacob J. Fritz, 85, retired stock farmer of Petersburg community, Gillespie County, died in a Fredericksburg hospital Monday. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in Schaetter Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg, followed by rites in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Harper, at 9:30 a.m., Rev. A. A. Gitter officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Harper.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Fritz, Fredericksburg; Edwin Fritz, Kerrville; Francis Fritz, Harper, Victor Fritz of Bishop; six daughters, Mrs. Walter Hug, San Antonio; Mrs. Morris Bein, Harper; Mrs. Lonnie Fritz, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Werner McDougall, San Antonio; Sister Mary David, O.L.L., San Antonio, and Mrs. Harold Rahe of Harper; one sister, Mrs. Henry Hartmann, Fredericksburg; forty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
