Suggested edit: Miami Daily News-Record, 25 Mar 1942, Wed, Page 2
MACK FUNERAL
Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Mack, found dead in her home on West A street yesterday, were held at G. A. R. cemetery this afternoon, the Rev. W. A. Evans officiating. Burial was under direction of the Durnil Funeral home. Mrs. Mack is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Stiners of Greenfield, Mo., and Mrs. Mattie Sater of Anderson, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. Pat Murphy of Zincville.

Suggested edit: I question the bio/obit noted on this memorial. Celila Elizabeth Redman married Burnecy Alice Dickerson and had four children - Mattie, George, Anna and Thomas. This obit indicates "Lizzie" is survived by two daughters Anna Stiners and Mattie Sater. It also mentions a sister Pat Murphy. She does not have a sister named Pat - she does, however have a sister Anna that married a Murphy - Anna Murphy died in 1974. She does have a two daughters Anna and Mattie. Anna married a man named Sylva Evans. Anna Evans died in 1940 and can't possibly have survived her mother. And her son Thomas isn't mentioned. The 1930 census for Burnecy Dickerson shows he is widowed. I also found a 1915 marriage record for a Celila Elizabeth Dickerson to a Thomas J Simpson. I was not able to find any record of a marriage to a Mack. I don't find Celila Redman-Dickerson-Simpson on a 1920 census.

The only real thing that ties this obit to this Celila is the mention of Mattie Sater. The rest of it is way off.

Do you have any supporting documentation for the Mack relationship?

Thank you in advance.
