Robert Loyd Taylor

Services for Robert Loyd Taylor, 51, of Lindsay, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27 at United Methodist Church in Lindsay.

Interment at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay was under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay.

Mr. Taylor passed away Friday, June 23, 2006.

Robert Taylor passed away on June 23, 2006 at the age of 51. Robert was born on November 13, 1954 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Loyd Estes Taylor and Nellie Mae Simmons Taylor. He married Frances Janell Bell on July 28, 1990 in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Robert was an oilfield mechanic, farmer, and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, working, and most of all spending time with his family.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents: William and Cleo Taylor; and R. A. and Bessie Simmons; He is survived by his wife, three sons: Derek Lynn, Eric Wayne, and Robert Christopher Taylor; brothers and sisters: Cleta and Larry Rainey, Jean Work, Linda and Bill Mitchell, Mary and Randy Wiley, Barbara and Enoch Slay, Joan and Clay Whitefield, Sandra and Tommy Shelton, Rhonda and Eric Stewart, Leland and Mona Taylor, Gary Taylor, and Daryl and Susie Taylor, Ed and Sheila Taylor, Joe Paul and Penny Taylor, Thomas and Carla Taylor, Larry Dean Taylor, Mark and Tessa Taylor, and Brad and Brandi Taylor, David and Lynn Green, Ty and Gwen Rogers, Rick and Cleo RoBarbs; grandchildren: Brooke, Erica, Michaela, Jaiden, Trenton, and Kailyn Taylor and Devon and Austin Miller and numerous other family members and friends.
