George Bradrick, age 69, resident of Fairview township for 45 years, died of complications following a heart ailment at the Schoon hospital Monday. He had been seriously ill for the past three years and was admitted to the hospital Thursday for medical care.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Methodist Church in Ocheyedan by the Rev. Harold Dayton. Interment will be made in the Ocheyedan cemetery.
George Bradrick was born at Belle Plaine, Iowa, July 18, 1876. At the age of four years he moved with his parents to a farm near Sutherland in O'Brdien county. He attended the rural schools in that vicinity and grew to manhood there.
Since 1901 he has been a resident of Fairview township. He was married to Phoebe E. Peterson on January 25, 1904 at Sibley.
Mr. Bradrick served on the Fairview township school board and held various offices of trust during his long residence in that community.
He is survived by his widow.
