Joyce was born February 26, 1934 in Provo, Utah to Harold Arthur Draper and Idell Kump Draper. She married Byron George Cromer (deceased April 27, 1967) June 11, 1951 then solemnized in the LDS Logan Temple on August 8, 1962. Later she married Ronald W. Durand June 21, 2001.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Durand; Her 7 children: Byron Kim Cromer (Joanie), Tye James, Ted Cromer (Connie), Jim Cromer (Gail), Jon Cromer (Tamra), Jani Reeves (Ben), and Jerry Cromer (Trish); 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; her brother Norval Draper (Pearl); and several extended family members. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, 1 grandchild, 2 sisters, her Mother and Father.
She was such a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and Grandma Great. Everyone mattered, everyone was her "favorite", and family was the most important thing in her life. She had so much love for all. She was so strong, talented, smart, funny and always smiling. She truly could do anything. One of her favorite things to do was dance.
There will be a viewing Thursday night, June 11, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. A visitation will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. prior to funeral services starting at 11 a.m. at the Riverbend LDS Ward, 4800 South 900 West, Taylorsville, UT. Graveside services will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
