Linden “Lindy” Hahn, 64, 201 Clinton St., died Friday evening at the Veterans
Medical Center, Iowa City.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis
Funeral Home. The Rev. Clyde Hartman will officiate. Burial will be in the
Soldiers Lot of Greenwood Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted.
Visitation is until 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.

The son of Eugene and Lulu Warneck Hahn, he was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Lone
Tree. He had lived most of his life in the Muscatine area.
His marriage to Hazel Law took place Oct. 23, 1938, in Kahoka, Mo. Mr. Hahn
retired from Northern Gravel in July 1983.

Survivors include four sons, Linden “Sonny” Jr., Jerry, Norman and Jim, all of
Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. Benjamin (Patricia) Brockert and Mrs. Louis
(Linda) Logel, both of Muscatine; 24 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren
and two sisters, Mrs. Gale (Mildred) Smith of Columbus Junction and Mrs. John
(Stella) Carrol of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons, two granddaughters and a
great-great-grandson.
