DIES YESTERDAY
Mrs. Betty Elizabeth Hunter, 76,
died suddenly yesterday morning
at her home on Big Railroad.
She is survived by two sons,
Perry and Grant Hunter, Pulaski;
three daughters, Mrs. Ellavester
Howard and Mrs. Gladys Baker,
Pulaski, and Mrs. Jeanette Haydon,
Radford; a sister, Mrs. Mattie
Fuller, Pulaski. Also 12 grandchildren
and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Monday at 2:30 p. m. from the
New Century Methodist Church
with the Rev. W. S. Golden officiating,
assisted by the Rev. O. L.
Johnson. Burial will follow in the
Pinehurst cemetery.
The body will remain at Strickler's
funeral home until 12:30 Monday
when it will be taken to the
church to lie in state until the
hour of the service.
