Clinton, Aug. 5 - Mrs. R. Willis Durkee, 57, died Friday after a long period of
ill health.
She was born at Kirkland, May 20, 1876, a daughter of the late Wesley and Susan
E. Munger. On November 23, 1898, she was married to Mr. Durkee. She was a member
of St. James Episcopal Church and of its societies. She also took an active
part in the Clinton Parent - Teacher Association.
Survives besides her husband are four children, J. Gordon of New Hartford,
Francis M. of Peekskill, Mrs. James J. Hughes of Norwood, and Pauline E. Durkee
of Clinton. She also leaves two brothers and four sisters and six grandchildren.
