Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Ann (Busald) Green, 56 of Rushville, died at 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Rushville Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born April 13, 1953 in Rushville, IN to Raymond Anthony Busald and Mary Theresa (Schmitter) Busald, her mother of Rushville survives. She married Daniel Allen Green on April 24, 1976 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville, he survives.
Mrs. Green was a lifelong resident of Rush County where she and her husband have been photographers for 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville where she served on the PTO and the Board of Total Catholic Education for 8 years. She was recently recognized by the Rushville Republican as a Woman in Business, published on October 17, 2008. On June 20, 2009 the RHS/RCHS Alumni Association presented to Betty Busald Green with a service award in recognition for many years of loyalty, dedication, and hard work.
Survivors in addition to her Mother and Husband include two sons: John Anthony (Theresa Mitchel) Green of Westfield, IN and Christopher Daniel (Cheng Hui) Green of Lansing, MI; two grandchildren Bridget Green, Anthony Green; three brothers: Jim Busald of Shelbyville, IN Carl (Robin) Busald of Rushville, Paul (Michelle) Busald of Rushville; three sisters: Helen Busald of Rushville, Marilyn (Mrs. Art) Kozlowski of Oak Forrest, IL, and Esther (Mrs. Burke) Sibrel of Grandview, IN; Several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with the Rev. William Turner officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, where a rosary service will be held at 1:45 p.m.
