Katherine "Susie" Fry, 78, died Feb. 11, 2003, at home in Hesperia. Born in Lubbock, Texas, she lived in Hesperia 32 of her 59 years in California. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Apple Valley. She is survived by her husband, David Fry of Hesperia; daughter Annette McCarty of Missouri; brothers JC Abney of Apple Valley and James Abney of Missouri; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Victor Valley Mortuary Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Victor Valley Memorial Park. Victor Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements.
