George Crafton, 62, of Altus, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 in Lawton. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at the Tamarack Road Church of Christ with Clint Burns officiating. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home.

George Marvin Crafton was born on May 7, 1952 to Belva Lee "Blackie" and Vera Alice (Southall) Crafton in Oklahoma City. George worked for Roudebush Farms and was a farm laborer for most of his life. He was a "Jack of all trades". Welding, carpentry, painting, you name it, he could do it.

He was a member of the Tamarack Road Church of Christ. George was an avid reader, loved to watch movies and work outdoors. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Vera (Southall) Watson; and a son, Christopher Crafton.
George is survived by his fiancee', Reba Hayes, of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Carrie Crafton of Altus; grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Britney, Alaric, Austin, Jared, Caleb and Phoenix; three sisters, Shirley Norton and husband Darrell, Mary Myers and Willa Snodgrass, all of Altus; and a host of other family and friends.Online tributes may be made at kincannonfuneralhome.com
