OBITUARY
Miss Mary Ann Harper was born in Perry county, Ohio, Dec. 12 (sic), 1821 (sic). She married to John W. Trunnell, Nov. 22, 1838. She moved to Missouri in 1866, where she lived for 24 years. In 1880 moved to Lane county, Oregon, where she resided until the time of her age of 91 years, 3 months and 21 days, at the home of her son, Jesse Trunnell, of Cottage Grove, Oregon.
She leaves four sons—John W., Jesse H., Joseph H., Thomas I., of Oregon, Robert C., of Missouri, and one daughter, Mrs. Arsula White of Iowa, to mourn her loss. "Grandma" Trunnell was confirmed in the Catholic faith at an early age, and for 78 years was a devout member. She left many friends who will remember her as a kind and benevolent neighbor.
Services were held at the Catholic church in Cottage Grove by Father Moran of Eugene, Tuesday, April 2.—Cottage Grove Leader.
