Arthur E. Lovellette, 58, of 330 S. 11th St., DeKalb, died July 6, 1974 in Robinson, where he was visiting a sister.

He was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Keensburg, the son of Emmanuel and Lucy (Walker) Lovellette. He married Marjorie Lawrence in Sycamore.

Mr. Lovellette worked for Ideal Industries for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife; a son, James, Sycamore; two daughters, Judy and Martha, at home; a sister, Dorothy Schneck, Robinson; four brothers, Sherman and Richard, Princeton, Robert, Chicago, and Clarence, Kokomo, Ind.; and two granddaughters.

He was a World War II veteran and member of the Sycamore American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Quiram Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call 4-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
