Robelle was the eldest child of Isaac Vern and Lily Marguerite Blankinship Oderkirk. She was born at the home of her maternal grandparents, Ephraim Monroe and Josiebelle Howe Blankinship. When just six weeks old she and her mother, Lily, returned by train to Alberta where her father, Vern, was on the family wheat farm. Robelle was joined by her sister, Barbara and brother, Vern, while the family remained in Alberta. In 1924 the family moved to Washington State and resided in Rainier, Stillwater and Maytown. In 1929 the family moved to Coquille, Oregon where Robelle completed grade school and attended high school. Upon graduating from high school she moved to Portland, Oregon to attend business college. After graduating from business college she went to work for Consolidated Freightways where she met her first husband, Ted Bergmann. They were married in June 1937 at the home of their dear friends', Faye and Bruce Miller. She and Ted had only one child, a daughter, Barbara, whom they adopted in 1952. In 1976 she lost Ted, and in 1977 married, Harry Clow. She and Harry were together for almost 26 years. Robelle was blessed with one daughter, one granddaughter, Melissa, and two great grandson's. Brandon and Jameson, and many loving family and friends.
