Leo Louis Backer, Rialto - Leo Louis Backer, 88, of 352 W. Cornell St., Rialto, died yesterday in a Rialto hospital. He was born in Illinois and was a five-month resident of Rialto. He was a retired office worker for American Car and Foundry Co., New York. Survivors include his widow, Ethel; a son, Louis B. of New Jersey; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Remains will be forwarded to Edwin J. Wallace Funeral Home, New York City, N.Y., for services and burial in Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Ralph Wm. Allen Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
