Harvey was the son of John Bishop and Adeline Richardson.

On Jan 13, 1866 in Littleton, NH he married Belle Marcia Russell, daughter of Nathan Russell and Harriet Houghton.

Their children were Adeline A, John M, Albert R, Eben Richardson, and Charles Henry.

They lived in the Landaff, NH area when Addie & John were born. Then in 1870 & 1880 they lived in Stratford, NH. By 1900 were living in Craftsbury, VT until their deaths.

His wife, Belle, died on Nov 28, 1904 in Craftsbury.

Harvey was predeceased by his sons Charles on Jun 24, 1904 and John on Sep 11, 1906. They both died in Craftsbury, VT. John's wife Lucy Lampson died on Jan 20, 1899 in Barton, VT just before their son Harvey W. was a year old. In 1910 young Harvey lived with his grandparents Harvey and his 2nd wife Harriet. Everyone lists son Eben as the father of Harvey but he was made his guardian on Feb 28, 1910 (Orleans Probate Vol 54, pages 343 & 408).

On Jul 7, 1906 in Craftsbury, VT he married Harriet Amelia (Fay) Rogers, daughter of Charles Fay and Abigail Bailey. She was divorced from her 1st husband, Elias J. Rogers.

In the 1920 Craftsbury, VT census Harriet is listed with Gladys Bishop, age 15, as her daughter. This child might have been Gladys Rogers from her 1st marriage. I can't find her in any census with either name except for this 1920 one. I do know this is the correct Harriet because her widowed son-in-law Dr E.N. Bibby is also living with her. He was married to her daughter Mabel Eliza Rogers. Harriet does not have this daughter Gladys with her in the 1910 census and in 1910 she said she had 4 children and that was the 4 Rogers children. So this Gladys is a total mystery.

Harvey's wife Belle and their four sons are buried here with them. I can't find where his daughter-in-law Lucy was buried in 1899. His wife Harriet died Feb 7, 1936 in Craftsbury, VT but I can't find where she was buried either.
