The double funeral of A.F. Eckenrode and his daughter Lottie, former residents of this city who died at the home of Mr. Eckenrode's daughter, Mrs. Helen Hamm, 108 Park Avenue, Binghamton, N.Y., was held on Wednesday morning [April 29, 1931] with a requiem high mass in St. John's church, Binghamton, with Rev. Father Scanlon as the celebrant. Among the large attendance at the services were many local relatives. There was a profusion of flowers which attested the esteem in which Mr. Eckenrode and his daughter were held. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, Johnson City.
