Alfreda M. Urban, 68, 1308 E. 19th, died Monday, June 12, at Hadley Regional Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1921 in Liebenthal, to George and Rose (Herrman) Pfeifer.
She married Sylvester Urban on May 8, 1939 in Loretto.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Barry and Randall, both of Loretto; three daughters, Gloria Lang and Janice Krueger, both of Hays, and Donna Leiker, Munjor; three brothers, Wendelin Pfeifer, Colorado Springs, Colo., George Pfeifer, Broomfield, Colo., and Leonard Pfeifer, Hays; a sister, Josephine Bieker, Great Bend; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Bill, and a sister, Helen.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Church, Loretto, Fathers Reginald Urban, Ultan Murphy an Carl Kramer officiated; burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Loretto.
