Services for Harvey R. Adams, 83, of Rapids City, Illinois, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Adams died Thursday at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. He retired in 1971 as a tool maker after 21 years at Deere & Company.
He married Lanore Jack in 1930 in Ottawa. She died in 1987. Mr. Adams enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Mrs. Toby) Laden, Coal Valley; sons, Robert, Bellevue, Nebraska, and Donald, Rock Island; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
