Dr. L. M. Hardy died at his home in this county, near Enon, from the effects of blood poisoning caused by a big carbuncle on the back of his neck.
Dr. Hardy was about 50 years of age and was one of the successful physicians of Moniteau county, where he practiced for many years, his office being at Enon. For the past few years he has resided on a farm in this county near Enon.

Dr. Hardy died August 28 at his residence near Enon, of malignant carbuncle on tbe back of his head near the base of the brain. He was buried in the Enon cemetery where a large concourse of friends witnessed the last rights of earthly respect. He leaves a wife aud two children to mourn their loss. They have the sympathy of the entire community.

Dr. Hardy Dead.
Dr. L M. Hardy died at his home in the vicinity of Enon early last week.
He was a practising physican and his office was at Enon. He died of blood poisoning caused by a big carbuncle on the back of his neck. Dr. Hardy will be remembered in Linn township, having resided at Jamestown a number of years ago. He was a native of Kentucky, and was a large robust man, something over 50 years of age at the time of his death.
He leaves a wife and several children.
