Miss Rose Ellen Finkey
Funeral services for Miss Rose Ellen Finkey, 85, formerly of 21 E. South St., Carlisle, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
She died Saturday afternoon in the Cumberland County Nursing Home, RD1, Carlisle.
She was born Jan. 18, 1888, in Cumberland County and was a daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Galloway Finkey. She resided most of her life in Carlisle.
She was formerly employed as a cook at the Jacol Restaurant in the Old Carlisle Market House. She was also formerly employed at the Carlisle Hospital.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Weaver, Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., by the Rev. Robert B. Gehlbach, associate pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
