Calvin A. Parker Dies at Age of 71
Calvin A. Parker, 71, died this morning in Oneida City Hospital where he had been a patient since Monday.
Born in the Town of Lee, Dec., 5, 1876, he was the son of the late Calvin and Susan Shepherd Parker. He married, Dec. 3, 1903, Bertha Gerwig who survives.
Mr. Parker had lived in Verona the past 40 years where he followed the occupation of farmer, r retiring several years ago. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church, Churchville.
Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Albert Dam Jr., Verona, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Bowers and Mrs. Susie Domino, Rome, and a half brother, Charles Druary, Rome

Funeral services for Calvin A. Parker, Rome-Oneida Road, Verona, were held Sunday at 2:30 o'clock at his home. The Rev. Paul Arnold, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Utica, officiated.
Nephews acted as bearers. They are Louis Beck, William Brunner, Charles and Carlton Marshall, and Howard and Carlton Johnson.
There was a profusion of flowers from relatives, friends and neighbors. Interment was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Churchville.
