Masonic funeral services were to be held at the graveside here Thursday afternoon at 3 for Albert Lawrence Slay, 72 year old florist, who died following a heart attack in the Kings Daughters hospital on Wednesday morning.
Rev David Cranford of the Baptist church will assist. Power Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Mr Slay, who came here in 1904 with the Indianola oil had been a florist for the past 10 years.
He leaves his wife, Bessie Carter Slay, a half sister, Mrs Laura Anderson of Bogalusa, la, and a niece Mrs Ella Mae Lewis of the same place; and a nephew, Albert Roberts of Vicksburg.
