DEATH OF THE HON MAJOR SINCLAIR – We (Banffshire Journal), regret to announce the rather sudden death of the Hon Major Alexander Eric George Sinclair. Deceased was younger brother of the Earl of Caithness, and spent some months of the present and last season with some friends in Keith, where he had good shooting grounds. He was a fine looking man, and of affable and kindly disposition, aged only 30, and generally appeared in the Celtic garb, which became him admirably. He had been complaining, and confined for a few days, and died of liver complaint in the Gordon Arms Hotel, Keith, on Friday morning.
