VANCE - Grover C. Reach, age 93, of Vance, died December 11, 2013, at UAB Medical West. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Youngblood officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, wife, Alice Lorene Reach; grandson, Paul Edward Reach, son, Roy Reach; and daughter-in-law, Nina D. Reach.Survivors include his daughter, Faye Deerman (Vic); sons, Charles Reach (Joyce), Bobby Reach, and David Reach (Reba); and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
