Connie K. Strahota, age 56, of Coleman passed away at home on Monday, July 22, 2002. She was born the daughter of Kermit and June (Burl) Whitaker on August 10, 1945 in Owosso.
Survivors include four daughters: RoxAnn (Rollie) Bourgeois of Lake, Cari (Isaac) Smith of Weidman, Carol Strahota and Keith Cousineau of Farwell, and Caron (Billy) Marble of Coleman; son Tony (Angie) Cole of Farwell; three brothers: Larry Whitaker of Tennessee, Kerry Whitaker of Harrison, and Jerry Whitaker of Farwell; sister Sally Whitaker of Farwell; and sixteen grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be sent to MidMichigan Hospice or the University of Michigan Transplant Center.
Services were held on Thursday, July 25th at the Farwell VFW. Cremation has taken place at the Country Roads Crematory in Hemlock. Arrangements were handled by the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. (The Clare County Review – Clare, MI – 26 July 2002)
