Mrs. Paul Weinheimer, 92, nee Lillie Rose Danz, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at Tri Star Care Facility.
A funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Msgr. Enda McKenna officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the organist and Jackie Kunz, the vocalist.
Interment followed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Deacon Pat Klein led a vigil service Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home where the body lay in state prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Weinheimer was born Jan. 3, 1915, in Gillespie County, the daughter of Harry Danz Sr. and Wanda Hohenberger Danz. She married Paul Arnold Weinheimer on May 14, 1935, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kerwin and Bernice Weinheimer of Fredericksburg, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother, Harry Danz Jr. and his wife, Margie, also of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Weinheimer was preceded in death by three sisters, including Vera Jenschke, Laura Pape and Milbie John.
Memorials may be made to St. Ann's Society, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Keith Weinheimer, Clifton Tyler, Klint Weinheimer, Jackie Mathis, Eric Weinheimer and Freddie Jenschke.
