January 27, 1938 - May 30, 2015

Glenda Ray, born on January 27, 1938, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was a stay at home mom until her children were grown and then went to work at the UT Health Science Center School of Nursing where she started as a secretary and was promoted to Assistant to the Dean of the graduate school.

She taught Sunday School to high school students and then began teaching Bible studies with adult women. Those who knew her would testify that she truly lived her faith.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert R. Ray; daughters Leslie Gian (Jack) and Lori McKinney; son Gregory Ray (Evan), six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorial service Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Castle Hills First Baptist Church, 2220 NW Military Hwy.
