Ardell R Leaf, 67, Ault, died Wednesday, Dec 16, at his home.

He was born Aug 25, 1925, in Greeley to Paul and Cora (Miller) Leaf.

On Aug 14, 1949, he married Dolores L Stroh in Greeley.

Mr. Leaf was reared and educated in Pierce and graduated from Pierce high School in 1943. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps and served in the South Pacific Theater during World War II. After his discharge, he came to Greeley and attended Colorado State Teachers College, now the University of Northern Colorado. He then entered civil service at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Grand Junction and worked as the service supply off icier. In 1953, he moved to Pierce where he farmed and ranched.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ault. He also was a member of Harold Huck Hensley Post No 4334 Veterans of Foreign Wars where he served as commander twice. He also served as commander of District 3 VFW.

Survivors are his wife, Dolores, a daughter, Lucy Farmer, and a son, Robert, all of Ault; two sisters, Mary Baiamonte of Ault and Esther Lemonds of Nunn; a brother, Paul of Seattle; and four grandchildren, Jed and Jake Leaf and Andrea and Seth Farmer, all of Ault.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors by Harold Huck Hensley Post No 4334 VFW, Ault.
