Agnes Eve (Barron) Fricks, 85, died at 7:24 AM Monday, March 30, 1998, in Gentle Care Nursing Home. She had been in failing health the past ten years. Born Feb. 4, 1913, in Fort Payne, AL, she had been a resident of Lafayette since 1987. Her husband, Hardy Fricks, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fricks was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Huntsville, AL. She enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are two daughters, Joyce (Mrs. Edward) Boston of Lafayette and Shirley (Mrs. Stephen) Sarnowski of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Lucille Ayres of Chattanooga, TN, Christine Spears, Catheryn Moore, both of Richland, MO, and Gwendolyn Wooten of Fort Payne, AL; three brothers, Charles Barron of Rogersville, AL, Dee Barron of Ardmore, TN, and Aubrey Barron of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
