Addie Parker Bastin of the Bandy community in Pulaski County, Kentucky, died at her home at the age of 84.
She was the retired owner of Bastin's Grocery in the Bandy community for 20 years. She was a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church.
She was survived by her son, Carl Lee Smith of Lockland, Ohio; her daughters, Clestine (and Robert) Hasty of Lockland, Ohio and Almadean (and Carlos) Caudill of Burnside, Kentucky; her brother, Elbert Mounce of Somerset, Kentucky; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-children, and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Lee Mounce and Maria (Thacker) Mounce; her first husband, William Henry Smith; her second husband, Jessie E. Bastin; her sons, Ralph Smith and Robert Smith; her daughter, Ruth M. Dick; and her brother, Carl Mounce.
Funeral services were held at the Woodstock Baptist Church with Brother John McPherron officiating.
Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg, Kentucky was in charge of arrangements.
