Earl E. Bruckman, 84, of Momence, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 at Momence Meadows Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Cotter Funeral Home, Momence.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Momence, where he was a member. Rev. Dennis Settles will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Momence.
Memorials may be made for Masses or to St. Patrick Academy in Momence.
Mr. Bruckman retired from Manteno Stone Quarry and operated Bruckman Trucking and Excavating for over 20 years.
He was born May 10, 1916 in Momence, the son of LeRoy and Alma DuFrain Bruckman.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian L. Kleinert, whom he married Feb. 18, 1939 in Momence; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Jim Thyfault, Allyson and Bill Halpin, Melanie and Miles Zahradnik, all of Momence; one daughter-in-law, Geri Bruckman of Bourbonnais; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Three brothers; three sisters; one son, Orin Bruckman; and one grandson, Ronnie Bruckman, are deceased.
