Dover - Eugene V. Robinson passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Del. He was born Nov. 13, 1936 in Smyrna, Del., the son of the late Vaughn and Clara Robinson.

Mr. Robinson retired after many years of work as a Truck Driver. Eugene was long time member of Citizens' Hose Company No. 1 and the Delaware Army National Guard, both of Smyrna. He enjoyed camping with his family and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Robinson. He is survived by his son, William "Billy" Robinson; his three step-children, Ronald, April and David Durham; and other extended family members.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Smyrna.
