Lois worked for the Bonham family during World War II. Harold Templin(a.k.a. Tim) was honorably discharged from the Army July 28th 1946 and they were married October 22nd, 1946. They had two children Kevin and Diane. Tim and Lois made their living farming outside of Reynolds until their retirement. Lois did everything from milking cows and butchering chickens to hauling grain during harvest. This was in addition to raising two kids and running a household. She continued her mother's tradition by baking many goodies and making homemade ice cream for her family.
Lois moved to Reynolds after retiring from farming when she was 62. She was the cook at the Reynolds Grade School for a period of time and helped with the concessions at the Reynolds Community Sale for many years. Lois would bake pies and cookies for her children and grandkids when they came to visit. Her favorite past time was playing cards with family and friends. Lois had many dear friends in Reynolds that were like an extended family to her.
She is survived by her son Kevin Templin and wife Kathy, daughter Diane Scheips and husband Ron, granddaughter Tammy Patterson and husband Derek, granddaughter Theresa Olson and husband John, sister Marge Terrill, and 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends throughout the community. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Templin.
