Ginger Rae Burton age 52 of Miami, Oklahoma passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 18, 1962 in Baxter Springs, Kansas the daughter of Tom & Gertrude (Jones) Lankford.

She grew up and lived in Baxter Springs most of her life. She graduated from Baxter Springs High School. She loved music and spending time with her family.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Burton on March 14, 1998 in Miami, making their home in Miami, Oklahoma.

She was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Tammy Adams and Gail Brady and a brother, Tom Lankford, Jr.

She survived by her husband Kenneth of the home; a son, Kenneth Burton II, 2 daughters, Shera Burton and Holly Burton, all of the home. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Trudy Enyart and her husband Elmer, of Grove, Oklahoma and Gwynn Perry and her husband James, of Fairland, Oklahoma and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:0 P.M., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, in Miami, with Rev. Kevin Bass, officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday evening at the funeral home. Her wishes were to be cremated.
