James Cornett Dies After Years Illness
James Cornett, 66, of Medora R1, died Tuesday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Carey Branaman, after an illness of about a year. He was a farmer and had lived in Jackson County all his life. He was born September 6, 1882 in Salt Creek Township, the son of Wesley and Elizabeth Harrell Cornett. Surviving besides the sister with whom he lived, are five nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Clearspring Church. Burial in Clearspring cemetery.
