Mr. Rex Robert Church, 70, husband of Kathy Church Church of 39 years passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 29, 2015 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Church was born in Wilkes County to James Carl Church and the late Dessie Holloway Church on March 31, 1945.
Robert was a truck driver, and after his retirement, he enjoyed selling plants, flowers and produce. He also enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.
His mother preceded him in death.
Other than his wife and father, those left to carry on his memories include: a daughter, Anthea Church of Moravian Falls; sons, Shane Church and wife, Robin of Hays and Matt Russell of Gastonia; five sisters; five brothers; eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mr. Church will be 2:00 Monday, June 1, 2015 at Mountlawn Memorial Park, 196 Fan Key Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28569. Pastor Dean Adams will officiate.
