He was born January 29, 1921 in Liberty, he was the son of the late Amos & Mary Jane Cochran Allen.
He was a Army Veteran of World War ll, a retired landscaper and a member of the Magnolia Street Christian Church.
William is survived by his wife Marie A (Cochran)Allen, four daughters, Jamie Hall of Tn.,Donna McDeavitt and Patricia Thomas of Fla.,Beverly Erkens of SD.,one son Don Allen of Lexington,10 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son Rick Allen, sisters Francis Carrier & Flossie Royalty,and a grandchild.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday May 30, 2015,leading to the 2 p.m. funeral service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
