Mr. Key had been a millwright for Chrysler Corporation for the last three months and was a former employee of Marmon-Herrington Company.
Born at Paris, Ill., he had lived in Indianapolis for the last 15 years.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Rena Key; three daughters, Mary Irene, Betty and Patricia Key, and a son, James Key, all of Indianapolis; his mother, Mrs. Ida Leonard, Gary, and two brothers and two sisters.
