Arthur H. Barckley of Burlington City, died Sun, March 17, 2002 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro, at the age of 84.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, Arthur has been a Burlington area resident all of his life. A crane operator for many years, he was last employed in the maintenance department for the Burlington Ammunition Plant. In his spare time, Arthur enjoyed tracking deer, playing cards and pool with his friends.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 65 years; Bertha (nee Johnson) Barckley, his children and their spouses: Jack Barckley of Burlington, Shirley Abbey of Burlington, Bob and Marge Barckley of Pine Beach, NJ, and Mary Ann and Morris Gallagher of Mt. Holly, as well as 14 grandchildren and many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thurs at 1pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St Burlington. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Visitation will be Wed from 7-9pm and again on Thurs 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
