Mass for Mrs. Maxie Baumann, 59, of 509 Lytle Street, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Walsh, Celebrant. Mass will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper with Rev. A.A. Gitter, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Harper. Rosary was recited Tuesday evening in Grimes-Plummer Funeral Chapels. She passed away Monday in Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.
Born March 22, 1920, she was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church, the Woodman Circle and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 650 in Harper. The Baumann's were married May 24, 1945 in Harper.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mike Baumann and Rodney Baumann; two daughters, Susan Baumann, all of Kerrville, and Nancy Lester of Eldorado; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Morrow of Kerrville, Mrs. Paulina Crenwelge of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Amanda Kneese of Harper; two grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Baumann, and son-in-law Robert Lester.
