Funeral services for Kenneth Rogers Alley will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Ken was born September 22, 1953 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into death May 24, 2015 at his home in Haughton, Louisiana. He graduated from Minden High School and Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science/Physical Education. Ken taught and coached at Coushatta High School, Plain Dealing Academy, and Trinity Heights Academy where they won several state championships. After retiring he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his gardening.

He is survived by his companion Melinda Roberts of Haughton, mother Maxine Alley of Minden, father Dr. Tom Alley of Minden, son Zachary Alley and wife Renn of Minden, daughter Sari Miller of Willis, TX, sister Marsha Christie and husband Dennis of Davidsville, PA, grandchildren Alley Mandino, Colton Miller, Cameron Meshell, Kylie Moreno, and Carmen Moreno.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Brown, John Campbell, Rand Kilgore, George Byron, Ric Moreno, and Cholla Ardoin.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Buck Creek Hunting Club.
